WHO WE ARE
Simply put, what is it that makes you feel you are not enough or what is it that makes you know that you are? Many things happen in life that help determine our sense of self-worth, positive and negative. Identifying these things is sometimes not an easy task, as they can be buried deep within us.
OUR MISSION
Above all, we are a safe-harbor community for self-exploration, discovery and healing.
He will cover you with His feathers,
and under His wings…
you will find refuge;
PSALM 91:4
OUR STORY
Let me share with you the story of how, and why, this page is in existence.
There was a lady and one day while driving her normal route to a favorite place, she noticed a car. This was not just any car you see. This beauty had character, style, the strength to endure and wore her battle scars proudly. Each was well earned and formed her unique style and beauty. “What was her story?”, the lady wondered each and every time she passed this aging beauty. This continued on this way for several years until one day, this beauty came up for sale.
Excited at the prospect of making this gem her own, she stopped, took a quick look, obtained the contact information and away she went. All she could see was a beautiful, blinged out Rat Rod!!! Everyone said, “You don’t want that car, it is way too far gone”. Not seeing what others were seeing, the hope remained to put this beautiful girl back on the road one day. Fast forward, a year goes by and life continues on. Still every time she passed this classic it pulled at her heart and said, “I am not through yet, don’t forget about me…”
A few months later, a phone call was made and as fate would have it, two souls met. When God places people in our life, we just know. And so a special bond was formed between her owner and the one who’s heart so desired to bring her back to life. After two years, many life events and conversations about where this classic beauty was headed, on December 15, 2017, she came to her new home.
So let’s talk about what that means now and how any of this has a thing to do with Always, You Are Enough? Quite frankly, I really didn’t know at the time myself. As it always seems to be, if we are still for a moment and really listen we receive our answers.
In the middle of 2017, I saw something that said, “Just as you are, always you are enough”. I loved it instantly, but still didn’t realize it’s full impact. You see, I realized then that I didn’t believe these words to be true about myself. But why? As we all know too well, there are many things that happen in our lives that make us question our self-worth. The truth is, it doesn’t matter why we feel the way we feel, it just is.
So how do we flip that around to always being enough? Truthfully, for me it is a work in progress every single day. I have to fight the enemy’s desire to steal my joy and my self-worth. By loving ourselves enough to realize that every battle scar, every blemish or shattered plan is a stepping stone to where we are supposed to be. By talking to one another and affirming what we know to be true about those that are in our circle, that always, we are enough.
